HD command description

Description: This command affects a hiden reference to be applied to the following text.

Syntax: [ HD =  Reference  ;  param1  ;  param2  ;  param3  ;  param4    ]

Reference
Long Integer
Unique number. 0 < numeric value < 0x7FFFFFFF. The reference is applied to the following text. The reference stops on a [hf] command. The reference must be unique for the whole document. You may not use twice the same reference. PageMakeUp saves in an internal table the reference of the block in which the reference is placed to find it faster for an update. You MUST use permanent block references (>2000) for the blocks containing references.

param1
Long Integer
  Additional search parameter.

param2
Long Integer
  Additional search parameter.

param3
Long Integer
  Additional search parameter.

param4
Long Integer
  Additional search parameter.

Note: This command implies permanent references for the blocks, so you must use block numbers > 2000. In the present version of PageMakeUp, references are hidden for the QuarkXPress user, but, however, the user may delete them. This may cause layout problems.

Example: [hd = 25485] Referenced text [hf] remaining text. The text "Referenced text" is referenced by PageMakeUp and can be replaced later using an update command. Typographic modification commands may be placed between the start and end commands of the reference. For example : [hd=4589] Price: [tc=14][ts=1]299.00[ef][ts=0]US$[hf]
